Martin Breznen - drums, percussion
was born in 1976 in Košice where he grew up. His musical bases were set at the secondary school when he was influenced by the music performed by bands like Napalm Death, Carcass, Atheist, Cynic, Cannibal Corpse, Death and so on.
In 1991 he was one of the founders of a band called Bloodshed. This music configu-ration existed till 1994 when its members were forced to leave their music room. The long-lasting period of non-playing and disputes between Bloodshed´s members led to its extinction. Martin Breznen, together with his two musical friends from Bloodshed, was trying to produce music in a style of Rondo Veneziano but unsuccessfully. After a short time, he was asked by Milan Mockovčiak and Viktor Halász to be a member of a progressive rock band named Selfcaged. Affected by that music, he accepted their proposal and he played with them for the rest of time. In 1999 Selfcaged has released its début CD "The Wasteland of Dreams". After two years of pause, the project titled "Reflections" was made. Concerning project, Martin plays drums and is the author of the majority of texts.
